"Conservative actor James Woods drew attention the issue with the simple question, 'Earpiece?' and a close up image of Hillary from last night’s forum." This according to a Sep. 8 2016 article by Infowars.
The Alex Jones website with a reputation for criticizing the liberal left noted that Woods Twitter feed showed an email posted by Wikileaks to Clinton from Huma Abedin asking her, “Did u take your earpiece or do I need to get it?”
Woods linked an article by TruePundit which sai said, “"NYPD sources involved with the NBC forum’s security detail confirm Clinton was wearing an ‘inductive earpiece,' the same technology employed by almost all lead Broadway actors to receive forgotten lines and stealth off-stage cues from directors.”
Wood's tweets set the Internet ablaze with speculation from critics.
Later that day, Fox News reported in an article, "Two senior campaign aides" told them that "the report is absolutely not true." Nick Merrill, a spokesperson for Clinton said, "what is seen in the photo is merely a reflection of the TV lights or a flash."
