During a White House press conference, reporters appeared to be more concerned with the President's smoking habit, rather than matters of state. This according to a June 11, 2015 article by Fox News, which said, "Correspondent April Ryan pressed Josh Earnest Wednesday on the photo, pointing out that the object appears to be the same size as a pack of cigarettes."
Earnest told Ryan, "I told you it’s not cigarettes. Let’s move on," and later added that he did not inquire from the president about the object that he was holding.
