iRumorMill.com Determination: Open Investigation
Did Sirhan Shiran act alone in the assassination of Robert Kennedy? This is a question that the son of the former U.S. Attorney General and presidential candidate is asking. Robert Kennedy Jr. was 14 when his father was gunned down in 1968 while leaving the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, just having won the nomination from the Democratic Party.

Lone Gunman and Thirteen shots from an
Eight Round Revolver?
The assassin was armed with an Iver Johnson .22 revolver, which has the loading
capacity of 8 rounds. "In 2005, audio engineer Philip Van Praag said the tape
revealed that about 13 shots had been fired." This according to a June 5, 2018
article by the Washington Post, which said, Praag used technology similar
"to that of the 'ShotSpotter' used by police to alert them to gunshots, and which
differentiates gunshots from firecrackers or other loud bangs."
Mugshot of Sirhan Sirhan (1969)
Sirhan Sirhan was found guilty of the murder of Robert Kennedy and was sentenced to die in the California gas chamber at San Quentin. In 1972 his death sentence was commuted to a life in prison when the state banned the death penalty. A parole board recommended his parole from prison on August 27, 2021. The decision has the support of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Douglas Kennedy, the sons of Robert F. Kennedy and is pending a 90 day review and the signature Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA).
