Reports from Spanish news sites have gone viral on social media that allege Cuba's Fidel Castro has died at the age of 88.

The source for this hoax is a Spanish satire website called "Ariztegui Noticias." The site has a disclaimer posted that said that it is a satirical site for entertainment.

There has not been any official news from Cuba announcing the death of Castro, which can be heard in multiple languages throughout the day via short wave radio on Radio Habana.
