An email allegedly from Microsoft corporation telling you that you have just one one million British Pounds and all you have to do is send your name, age, nationality, sex, occupation, phone number and mailing address.

This is a phishing scam to trick readers of this email to send personal and financial information.

Phishing can be conducted by email, land mail or telephone to convince victims into handing over identification numbers, personal information, credit card numbers, or bank account numbers.

If you get such an email you should block the sender and delete the email. If it comes with an attachment, do not open it.
